Company History
Green Electric was established in West Palm Beach in 1968 by Lewis H. Green. He started the company after serving our country in the U.S. Army in the Korean War and then working for several years as an electrician. He was somewhat of a pioneer in the electrical contracting field. He held one of the first state masters licenses in Florida (EC0000059). Over the years, all three of Lewis' sons worked in the family business and all are electricians. His youngest son, Pat joined his father in 2004 as co-owner of Green Electric Lewis retired in 2005 and the company is now owned and operated by Patrick and Sarah Green.

Patrick Green, President
Pat has always lived and worked in the Palm Beach County area. He has been in the electrical field since 1976, starting our as an apprentice while going to school at the NJATC. He graduated as a Journeyman Electrician in 1980. He later went on to become an instructor at the NJATC and attended and graduated from the National Training Institute (a four year program for instructors) held at the University of Tennessee. Pat has gained a vast knowledge of the industry through the many different genres of projects he has been involved with. He has worked on large commercial projects, high rise buildings, power plants and all types of residential jobs. He has worked on some of the highest profile large scale homes in the area and has supervised the electrical construction on homes that range in size of up to 68,000 square feet.
Sarah Green, Vice-President
Sarah's background is in distribution. She worked for thirteen years at Graybar Electric, a Fortune 500 company and the largest electrical distributor in the country. She began her career in the West palm Beach branch as an assistant in the financial department before deciding to pursue a career in sales. She quickly made her way through the warehouse, counter sales and inside sales before going into outside contractor sales, where she excelled. She worked with her contractors on many types of projects including large estate homes, hospitals, equestrian facilities, civil projects, commercial facilities, retail stores, large pump stations, water parks, theatres and churches; she left Graybar in 2006 and joined her husband Pat as co-owner of Green Electric.
Jake Douglas, Estimator
Jake has worked in the electrical field for the last 13 years. He graduated from the NJATC where he received his National Certification. He is a licensed Journeyman wireman in Palm Beach County and has worked on many high profile and large scale custom residences in Palm Beach. He has also worked on large commercial jobs including condominiums and the airport. Jake has also worked in the industrial market at such places a Pratt Whitney, power houses and juice plants. His knowledge of lighting control systems is extensive. He has been with Green Electric for the last three years. It is his attention to detail and expert knowledge of the field that makes him a valued estimator.
Mike O'Connor, Service Manager
Mike has 39 years of experience in the industrial, commercial and most recently the high end residential markets. He spent approximately four years as the lead serviceman for a conveyor company serving New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania manufacturing and distribution centers. He also spent ten years in the industrial plant management in New Jersey. After moving to Florida he worked as an electrician in the residential market. He has been with Green Electric since November 2005, where he began as an electrician working on custom homes. He has since run extensive remodel jobs on large homes in Palm Beach and Frenchmens Creek. Mike's attention to detail, easygoing personality, excellent workmanship, leadership skills and extensive knowledge have made him excel as the service manager at Green Electric.
